We all suffer with occasional anxiety, but it becomes a problem when it is intense and persistent, oftentimes becoming worse over time.

People suffering from anxiety often display excessive worry, most days for at least 6 months, about a number of things such as personal health, work, social interactions, and everyday routine life circumstances. The fear and anxiety can cause significant problems in areas of their life, such as social interactions, school, and work (NIH).

We employ a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy approach to the treatment of Anxiety. Your therapist will assist you in discovering the negative thought patterns that contribute to your anxiety, as well as aid you in changing negative thought patterns that contribute to the intensity of your anxiety.
